Pack and plan for this weekend!
I must, I must, I must gather myself and get things sorted.
Life has been crazy hectic lately. I'm juggling too many things, something is not going to go as planned, it's inevitable.
This morning B and I strolled around Target, a respite from the rain and each other.
But now I need to stop procrastinating, begin packing.
J will be 30 tomorrow, can you believe it?!
He has an inkling of his birthday surprise. Life went a bit haywire this week and I gave him the outline. Or maybe that's just an excuse. Maybe I really am the worst secret keeper EVER.
I don't know, but honestly, life has just been a bit meh lately, and J a bit cranky (with good reason!) and my excitement for this weekend has dropped by, oh, about a thousand (if only that were a real quantifier!).
Tell me to slap on my happy face, people. I need an energy boost. And please wish J a happy birthday. 30 years ain't no small thing! (I have a BA in writing/literature, mmmhmm).
